Photo booth overlay templates for sharing
A BoothLab share overlay is a 9:16 PNG, 1080 × 1920 pixels, with transparent openings for the photos. It is the version of your print design made for phones, so what guests post matches what they take home.

A print design does not fit a phone
A 4×6 print or a 2×6 strip is the wrong shape for a phone screen or a story. Cropping one leaves the names cut off or the photos tiny. The share overlay is laid out again at 9:16, with the same flowers, lettering and colours placed for that shape.
How it is made from your print
Every extra layout in a pack is a new layout of the original design, not a stretched copy. The share overlay goes through the same steps as a print: its pieces are drawn at their final size and placed for the new shape, and each one stays a separate layer you can move in the Studio.
Loading it in your booth software
Use it wherever your software asks for the overlay on digital copies: the image guests receive by text, email or QR code. The file is a standard PNG, so it loads the same way as any overlay you already use.
Questions operators ask
What size is a photo booth overlay for sharing?
BoothLab’s share overlay is 1080 × 1920 pixels, the 9:16 shape phones and stories use.
Is the share overlay included in a pack?
It can be. A pack has three print layouts and the 9:16 share overlay is one of the formats you can choose. Adding it on top of three others costs one credit.
Do you make animated overlays or 360 booth overlays?
Not today. BoothLab delivers still PNG overlays.
