Nine layouts on the most common booth print

The 4×6 is what most dye-sub booth printers run, so it has the widest choice of layouts. Portrait has five: a single photo, one large photo with two small, a grid of four, a pair, and a stack with the title down the side. Landscape has four: a pair, a row of three, one large with two small, and a grid of four.

Layouts are presets you pick, not boxes you drag. That keeps the photo openings on positions booth software handles cleanly.

Portrait or landscape

Choose by how your booth shoots. A camera mounted upright with a single pose suits portrait. Group shots and a wide backdrop suit landscape. A pack has three print layouts, so you can carry one of each.

Room for a logo

For brand and corporate events, upload the logo once. It is placed exactly as supplied, never redrawn, in a reserved spot on every print, and its colours feed the rest of the design.

Questions operators ask

What size is a 4×6 photo booth template in pixels?

1200 × 1800 pixels in portrait and 1800 × 1200 in landscape, at 300 DPI.

How many photos fit on a 4×6 template?

From one to four, depending on the layout. Portrait has five layouts and landscape has four.

Is a 4×6 the same as two 2×6 strips?

It is the same sheet of paper. A strip template is 2×6 and your booth prints two side by side on a 4×6 sheet and cuts them. A 4×6 template fills the whole sheet as one print.
